$0 per verification check
Client Pay lets you pass the verification cost directly to the vendor or buyer. Your agency still needs an active AML Assured subscription, but the individual KYC check does not come out of your agency's pocket.
See exactly how the Client Pay feature works, from the toggle to the click, and how it sits inside the forms you already send.
Ben, Max and Miles show you how AML Assured's Client Pay feature works inside Forms Live.

TL;DR
AML Assured's Client Pay feature lets an agency pass the cost of an individual identity verification directly to the vendor or buyer. The agency keeps the workflow inside Forms Live while reducing its own per-check cost to $0.
Max and Miles demonstrate how to enable Client Pay, choose who funds a check, and show the complete client journey. Ben then walks through the Forms Live integration.
Key Takeaways
Client Pay lets you pass the verification cost directly to the vendor or buyer. Your agency still needs an active AML Assured subscription, but the individual KYC check does not come out of your agency's pocket.
Use included checks first, always prefer Client Pay, or let the user choose before sending. Your agency can decide what suits each client and transaction.
Vendor and buyer details entered in a form flow into AML Assured. Initiate the check from the AML panel and view the result without re-entering information.
Clients receive a branded email explaining what is required and why. They can pay securely and complete the identity, liveness and risk checks from their device.
AML Assured assesses the verification data, PEP and sanctions screening, adverse media, and customer responses before returning a risk result.
Verification activity is timestamped and stored to support record-keeping and reporting obligations, with exportable records providing an audit trail.
Max: Welcome to today's session with AML Assured and Forms Live. We are focusing on Client Pay verification: how to enable it, how it works through Forms Live, and what your customer sees.
Miles: From 1 July, agencies need to verify vendors and buyers. Vendor verification occurs around the listing appointment. Buyer verification must be completed within 28 days of contract exchange and no later than three days before settlement.
AUSTRAC expects agencies to have a business risk assessment and AML program, appoint a compliance officer, train staff with documented records, verify customers, screen for PEP and sanctions risks, report suspicious matters, and submit annual compliance reports.
You will encounter individuals through Know Your Customer checks, and companies and trusts through Know Your Business checks. Records must be retained for seven years.
Timing note: This webinar was recorded in July 2026 and refers to deadlines current at that time. Confirm current obligations with AUSTRAC or your compliance adviser.
Max: Verification checks across the market can range from roughly $13 to $45. With Client Pay, the cost does not disappear; it is passed directly to the customer. That means the KYC verification can cost the agency $0.
The choice is flexible. You can use Client Pay for a client who is comfortable paying, or use a check included in your plan. There is no single right way to fund checks.
Ben: The legislation is here, and agencies need a practical way to incorporate it into daily work. The Forms Live integration reduces double handling and makes the process easier for teams to adopt.

Miles: From the home page, open Billing and select Client Pay Verification. Enable it, then choose how you want to fund KYC checks.
You can use included checks before switching to Client Pay, always prefer Client Pay, or allow the user to choose before each request. In this demonstration, selecting "allow a user's choice" makes both options available when a vendor request is sent.
Important: Your agency needs an active AML Assured subscription to enable Client Pay and use the integration.

Ben: Once both accounts are connected, open the relevant form. The AML panel appears in the right-hand navigation and picks up the vendor details already entered.
Submit the details, view the case, and receive the outcome. The same process works with multiple parties in a contract. It takes only a few clicks and avoids a separate paper process.
Max: Once the customer completes the request, the result is populated back into Forms Live. AML Assured works as the compliance engine behind the platform agents already know.

Max: The customer receives an email with the agent's name and property address. It explains what is required, why the verification is taking place, and links to further AUSTRAC information.
They select Pay Securely and complete payment through Stripe, with options such as Apple Pay. The workflow then guides them through photographing their ID, selecting a preferred language, and completing the selfie check.
Miles: The client answers questions about occupation, transaction funding, and country of residence. AML Assured combines these responses with the verification data and returns the risk result, so the agency does not calculate it manually.
Miles: AML Assured completes PEP and sanctions screening, as well as adverse media screening. All records are retained for seven years, activity is timestamped, and an exportable customer record provides evidence of what was completed.
Max: If a client ignores the request, an automatic reminder is sent after approximately 32 hours. Requests include the company, property, and initiating agent details. We still recommend giving the client a brief explanation before sending it.
Max: At the time of this webinar, Compliance Lite started at $79 per month and supported one to two users, with another seat available for $9.
All plans included staff training, the business risk assessment, AML program, seven-year storage, verification workflows, and support. Plans varied by users and included checks. There were no setup fees or lock-in contracts.
Pricing note: These figures were stated on 21 July 2026. Check AML Assured's current pricing page for current plans and inclusions.
